Coventry Companies Snap Up Space After Friars House £3million Revamp

A £3 million refurbishment programme has upgraded office accommodation and air conditioning throughout the 11-storey city centre building

A number of new lettings have been recently agreed, following significant investment into Coventry’s Friars House.

The £3 million refurbishment programme has upgraded office accommodation and air conditioning throughout the city centre building, with four lettings totalling 25,000 sq ft agreed in the past month as a result.

The 11-storey office building, totalling 68,000 sq. ft, sits just a two-minute walk from Coventry Train Station. Friars House is also positioned alongside the £100m Friargate masterplan, Coventry’s largest regeneration project for several decades, designed to create new office space, hotels, homes, retail units and restaurants.

New lettings include housing charity Reall who have taken 6,880 sq ft on the 6th floor, along with digital training company We Are Digital and data management company Kagool who have transitioned to conventional space from flexible office space with FigFlex Offices, also located in Friars House. In response to business growth Fig have now expanded into an additional floor within the building, taking their space to approximately 13,760 sq ft over two floors.

Our recent lettings have seen occupancy at Friars House increase from 45% to 80%. Only two floors now remain vacant at the building, which can accommodate requirements from 3,500 – 13,500 sq ft.
