Planning Approval for New Homes in Winnington

More than 150 new homes will be built on the vacant eight-acre brownfield site on Winnington Avenue sits next to Winnington Urban Village, creating an extension to the area’s existing residential provision

We have been granted outline planning permission for a residential development of up to 164 units adjacent to Winnington Urban Village in Northwich.

The development will transform a vacant eight-acre brownfield site on Winnington Avenue and contribute 164 new homes towards Cheshire West and Chester Councils’ strategic five-year housing requirement of 4,800 net new dwellings (2018 to 2023).

The site sits next to Winnington Urban Village and will create an extension to the existing residential provision in the area.

We will create a green public open space as part of the development and also make a significant financial contribution towards health, education and highways through the Section 106 agreement.

Consultants working on the project include DPP Planning, Saunders Architects, RSK Engineers and legal representation from Hill Dickinson.
