Asset and property management company, FI Real Estate Management (FIREM), has agreed the sale of another five former Toys ‘R’ Us freehold properties for the value of £26M and agreed nine lettings.

FIREM has agreed to sell Doncaster, Swindon, Coventry, Oxford and Peterborough, totalling around 199,000 sq. ft to a mix of retailers and local authorities.

A further nine leases have been committed to across the portfolio with the likes of Lidl, Smyths Toys, The Range and B&M Bargains taking space at locations including Old Kent Road London, Solihull, Leeds, Glasgow, Nottingham, Sheffield and Poole. The annual rents total in excess of £2.8M across 200,000 sq. ft of retail space.
