Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30 (1-hour unpaid break)

About the Role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Studio Manager to lead our in-house design function. You will be responsible for managing a team of two designers and overseeing all aspects of the company’s visual communication, including:

  • Web Development: Maintaining and updating the company website (www.firem.com), ensuring it remains modern, user-friendly, and effectively showcases our property portfolio.
  • Graphic Design: Creating visually compelling marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, presentations, and social media content.
  • Video Content: Producing high-quality video content for marketing and communication purposes, including property tours, company profiles, and tenant testimonials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of two designers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to foster their professional development.
  • Develop and implement a creative strategy that aligns with the company’s marketing objectives and brand identity.
  • Oversee all design projects from concept to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all platforms and touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., marketing, sales) to understand their design needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and technologies.
  • Manage the design budget and resources effectively.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Studio Manager or in a similar leadership role within a design team.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of design skills across web development, graphic design, and video production.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory.
  • Experience working with brand guidelines and maintaining brand consistency.
