Job Title: Cleaning Operative
Division: FIFM
Location: North Point Shopping Centre
Reporting to: Facilities Manager
Role Overview
Working as part of the Housekeeping Team you will deliver a high level of service in a clean, safe and secure environment. Assist in the day-to-day operational standards in North Point Shopping Centre.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out routine cleaning tasks as delegated by the Facilities Manager.
- Use chemicals and equipment that you have been trained to use to maintain the required standards.
- Work as part of a team or on your own depending on where you are working.
- Take pride in your work and take satisfaction in a job well done.
- Undertake additional relevant and reasonable tasks as required from time to time.
- Carry out all cleaning as laid down in the Daily Tasks Lists ensuring all relevant documentation is completed.
- Operate as part of the team at North Point Shopping Centre, providing our customers with the required image.
- Provide a safe and clean environment for the general public and staff.
- Report any Health and Safety Hazards to the Control Room.
- Monitor Cleaning Machinery and report all maintenance requirements.
- Report any pending shortfalls in stocks/stores.
- Abide by all the Centre rules and regulations.
- Be aware of risk and compliance during day-to-day operations.
- Be aware of role in management events and activities understanding team requirements and assist where appropriate.
- Work with other teams and staff for the benefit of the centre. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
- Attend training and development courses as necessary.
- Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself, colleagues and the general public who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work

- Emergency First Aid or First Aid at Work.
- Cleaning: 1 year (Preferred)
