Job Title: Credit Controller
Division: Property Support Team
Location: Based at Canal Mill PR6 9AF
Reporting to: CC Manager

Role Overview

FI Real Estate Management is an asset and property management company with over 30 years’ experience in the UK and European real estate markets. Our team of over 400 professionals manages industrial, offices and retail portfolios totalling nearly 10 million sq. ft.

Our Property Support team are excited to be recruiting for a Credit Controller to join their team in a full time, permanent basis. The right candidate will have excellent numeracy and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

This role is to be part of an experienced and friendly team and is office based in Chorley.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of accounts
  • Actively pursue overdue debt, rents, service charge, insurance, utilities, plus any other billed sums by telephone and email in relation to commercial property.
  • Liaise with property and asset managers to resolve any queries
  • Attend weekly debt meetings with Manager
  • Reconciling of accounts
  • Monitoring customer accounts
  • Liaising with Solicitors, Enforcement Agents and liquidators
  • Raising customer invoices and taking any card payments
  • Legal Proceedings
  • Follow correct procedures and guidelines
  • Complete any other ADHOC duties

To be successful you must have the following attributes:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years credit control experience within the property sector
  • Excellent Excel skills and general MS Office knowledge
  • Strong communication skills and be able to work to strict deadlines
  • The ability to work well as part of a team
