Aims & Objectives
Working with an active property investment team that is focused on industrial-led development across the UK, from planning throughout construction and delivery phases. Reporting to the Head of Development and Construction, FI Real Estate is looking to appoint a Graduate Development Manager to help deliver a strong and growing pipeline of development projects.
The individual must have a minimum of 1 years experience working within a development environment. You will have a property-related degree and ideally be working towards your APC (though not essential)
Key Tasks:
Assisting the development managers in keys aspects of the development programme including but not limited to:
- Supporting with the delivery of key commercial developments
- Gathering market information to feed into feasibilities, development appraisals and department business plan
- Assisting with planning applications and liaising with the wider design team
- Site visits with the wider design team
- Assisting with the preparation of planning trackers and monitoring the progress of planning conditions
- Preparation, distribution and follow-up of key actions following design team meetings
- Work collaboratively with the wider FI team including the construction team, asset managers, marketing, property and facilities management
Essential Skills & Experience
- Degree or Masters level property related degree
- Ability to work in a fast-paced but rewarding environment
- Experience using ARGUS Developer would be advantageous but not essential
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent level of accuracy, numerical and analytical skills
- A strong knowledge of IT systems particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Excellent people and stakeholder management ability
- Team player with the ability to work autonomously.
- Previous experience of working in the industrial sector is desirable but not essential.
