Role Overview
Lynch Wood Park is a unique office campus totaling 350,000 sq. ft and is set within 11.74 hectares. We are now looking for an experienced Security Officer to join our fantastic team in this beautiful setting. The successful candidate will be working dayshift most Saturdays and Sundays 05:45am to 17:45pm and will be required to cover other shifts during the week if an officer is sick or on annual leave.
Hours of work: The role would be a minimum of 24 hours per week (12 hours on Saturday and 12 hours on Sunday, with the opportunity to work extra shifts when covering other guards on annual or sick leave.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include:
- Internal patrols of the landlord areas in the building including toilets, meeting rooms etc.
- External patrols of the site including all 5 car parks.
- Processing and activating swipe cards for tenants, also disabling, adding access or deleting cards with the correct authorisation and keeping a tight control of all visitor passes that are kept in the security control room.
- Monitoring the site via CCTV in the security control room.
- Identifying any incidents that may occur on shift, reporting and dealing with them as per the security AI’s.
- Telephone answering.
- Issuing of keys and radio’s in accordance with the security process.
- Monitoring and controlling site lighting as required.
- Keeping the daily occurrence book and spreadsheets up to date.
- Co – ordinating events in case of an emergency
- Controlling the access of vehicles to and from site.
- Providing every possible assistance to FIFM management, tenants, staff and visitors
- Must be of smart appearance, polite and professional, punctual and good attendance is essential.
Personal requirements
- Hold a valid SIA Licence
- Have a minimum of two years security officer experience
- Participate in training and ensure this is kept up to date
- Conduct yourself in a professional and respectful manner
