Job Title: Superstructure Project Manager
Location: Predominantly Northwest of England and North Wales
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This role will be based in the Northwest of England and North Wales. The main focus of the position is overseeing the successful delivery of the superstructure element of our 10 million ft2 Industrial Portfolio. The successful candidate will have a proven ability of project managing all aspects of steel, cladding and superstructure elements for large industrial developments up to a million ft2.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Superstructure Operations Manager as follows,
- Preconstruction Stage: Input into the design, programme and quality of steel and cladding Planning and agreeing Health and Safety and Quality Control protocol.
- Construction Stage: Lead and manage all aspects of site operations for cladding and steel projects, ensuring successful project completion within the specified timeframe and Full responsibility for quality management and health and safety.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets the required quality standards and complies with relevant building codes and regulations.
- Resource Management: Eficiently allocate and manage resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to ensure smooth site operations and minimize
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the highest health and safety standards are adhered to across all site activities, carrying out regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor and control project budgets, including managing costs and ensuring projects are delivered within the allocated financial
- Progress Reporting: Provide regular project updates to the Operations Manager on progress, challenges, and milestones.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager, or Site Manager in the cladding and steel
- Expert in both cladding and steel sectors and experience in managing large scale
- A thorough understanding of construction health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage
- A degree or HNC/HND in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is
- SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS Card (or equivalent) are highly
