Job Title: Utilities Administrator
Division: FI Real Estate Management
Location: Canal Mill, Botany Bay Business Park, Chorley, PR6 9AF
Hours: 9:00-17:30

To provide administrative support including all aspects of energy management and reporting across the Group’s property portfolio.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collate all meter readings, submitting to energy suppliers and verifying to supplier bills
  • Submit change of tenancies to suppliers following tenants entering and exiting units
  • Assist in arranging new energy contracts/supplies
  • Collate data for tenant queries
  • Liaise with the energy suppliers and the property team to ensure any meter installations or removals are carried out in a timely manner
  • Collate and track EPC certificates
  • Arrange with Asset managers and Property managers on new EPC assessments
  • Monitor energy usage using collated data•Compile reports and provide updates to Energy and Sustainability Manager
  • Monitor Utilities mail box
  • Raising of Purchase Orders
  • Processing of invoices
  • Input meter reads into recharge templates to create tenant charges
  • Liaise with Finance and Credit Control for correctly recharging tenants for energy usage

Hours of Work

37.5 Hours per week: 9.00am to 5.30pm each day with 1 hour unpaid for lunch: Monday to Friday

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Excel; Outlook; Word
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to deadlines
  • Ability to work as an effective team member
  • Qualified to GCSE level or equivalent in Maths and English
